Indian Institute of Cosmetology, Trichology, & Nutrition Pvt. Ltd ( IICTN) is led by Dr. Jhoumer Jaiitly, an industry leader with over two decades of experience. IICTN provides career-oriented courses and expert guidance, offering a wide range of programs aimed at enhancing and upgrading skills from empowerment to employment in the Health & Wellness sector. Our curriculum and lectures meet global industry standards, combining theory with practical training, and integrating essential skills such as Professional Development, Client Management, Business Fundamentals, and Legal Framework, setting us apart as a truly comprehensive education centre. Additionally, IICTN supports students in advancing their education by facilitating admissions to advanced degree programs through collaborations with universities and colleges in the Health and Wellness sector.

  1. Courses Package & Fee: Your own due diligence and thorough discussion with our counsellors helped you finalize a customized course package at a discounted fee. Please note that the total fee is based on the combination of courses selected such as certificates, diplomas, BSc, PGDC, or MSc programs and will naturally vary from one student to another. The fee also depends on the specific package, scheme, merit considerations, and management discretion. For this reason, comparing fee structures between students is neither applicable nor encouraged. We’re happy to mentioned that if you’ve paid the full fee upfront for all years/semesters at the time of admission, any future fee hike from the university will be absorbed by us and you won’t be asked to pay the difference.
    1. Fees Breakdown: The Fee for courses broadly includes Admission Facilitation fee, Registration fee, university fee, Machines and consumable, special products, fee for practical and industrial institute interactive training, Examination fee, Certificate fee. The Fee does not include your travel cost, stay cost, lodging/boarding costs for attending lectures, practical, workshop, examinations. The fee structures are indicated and intended to prevent any misunderstandings later. Fees once paid are non-refundable. Applicants must adhere to these terms.
  2. Admission Form Submission: Applicants must read carefully and fill out their correct details on the admission form link, along with uploading all mandatory required documents in color format.
  3. Validity : The following validity periods will apply to courses and cannot be altered. The examination and practical dates are sacrosanct ( not fixed ) and promulgated as announced by the university. Kindly keep track of these important dates.
    1. IICTN Diploma Courses: 6 months
    2. Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) / Fellowship: 1 year
    3. MSc Courses: 2 years
    4. BSc Courses: 3 years
    5. BSc (Honours) Course: 4 years

    Notes

    1. After the validity Period is over, applicants are required to pay 30% of the total course fee for a 1-month validity extension to complete the course if permitted.
    2. Only 1 extension is allowed; further extensions may be denied or may incur an additional fee.
    3. The University / Institute reserves the right to modify course schedules, content, or formats.
  4. Documentation: The acceptance of your admission by the university programs is dependent on verification of your document set including transfer certificate or migration certificate and issuance of admission Identity number. All required documents are mandatory and must be submitted in one go within 7 working days from the receipt of the fee paid to IICTN. Please note that document submission is only accepted via email at iictn.mumbai@gmail.com Any other form of submission will not be acknowledged or accepted under any circumstances. Failure to comply may result in delays in admission, cancellation, or penalties (minimum Rs. 3000/-), for which IICTN will not be held liable. If applicants require further clarification, they are advised to contact the Administration Team or their consultant. Applicant adherence to the processes and timelines detailed above is mandatory.

    Applicant will be sole responsible to upload documents online as well as share via email mentioned above, documents should be accurate, authentic, and in compliance with the institute’s requirements. The applicant acknowledges that in the event any information or documents are found to be inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent, the applicant will bear full responsibility. The institute and its management will not be held liable for any consequences arising from such discrepancies at any point in the future.

  5. Lectures/ Sessions/ Practicals:
    Online and offline classes will be held 5 days a week. The schedule of classes will be promulgated in due course by IICTN/SPDT College, Mumbai.
    1. a) Semester wise study material will be dispatched after 7 working days from the payment of the full fee of the particular course and after promulgation of the date of commencement of that course.
    2. b) Hybrid Mode of learning (combining online and offline classes) which will give students flexibility and accessibility through online classes.
    3. c) No schedules regarding classes, exams, practical sessions, etc. will be shared individually with the applicants. Applicants must remain active in the course groups to stay informed and updated.
    4. d) IICTN Diploma programs are designed for students who are looking to acquire specific short skills programs. The fee structure for Diploma courses is tailored to each program and differs from the BSc course fees.
  6. B&WSSC/ MEPSC /HSSC– NCVET Examination & Certification: Please note that the dates and timelines for the receipt of exams and certificates issued by the NCVET/SKILL INDIA are not under the control of IICTN and promulgated by the authority. These dates are sacrosanct and cannot be changed.
    1. Applicants are advised to register for the NCVET/Skill India examination only when they are fully prepared. Biometric attendance is compulsory.
    2. Examinations are conducted every month batch-wise and not individually.
    3. Offline theory exams must be completed using the designated Exam App.
    4. Viva and practical examinations are conducted individually for each applicant.
    5. NCVET/Skill India exams are overseen by external government examiners and a 100% passing is required for qualifying.
    6. Failure to pass on the first attempt will result in a need to re-prepare for a second attempt.
    7. Failure to attend the exam for any reason, including medical emergencies, will result in a ₹5,100 penalty. This penalty is strictly enforced and non-negotiable.
    8. Certificates will be issued within 3 months or as determined by the respective Body’s Schedule after passing in the examination, viva and practical.
  7. University / College Examinations & Certifications: Please note that the dates and timelines for the receipt of exams and certificates issued by the university are not under the control of IICTN and are promulgated by the university.
    1. It is imperative that applicants submit all required documentation within 2 to 3 days of the admission to avoid delays in exam scheduling.
    2. The exams include topics related to Spoken English, Computer Knowledge, Nutrition, and Safety Measures, Soft skills in addition to the curriculum pursued. Failure to attend a scheduled examination will lead to its deferment to the next semester or newly scheduled dates, and may require payment of the examination fee.
    3. Passing Marks and Extra Fee:
      • Specified for each course/subject
      • Students need to achieve minimum passing marks to progress
      • ATKT subjects will follow University norms and extra fee per subject is chargeable.
      • Additional fees: Extra Rs. 2600/- per IICTN diploma certificate (if required for any semester)
    4. Internship:
      • Students can opt for internships at any point during the course.
      • Internship letter from the Employer required; else absentees will be marked.
    5. University Certification: Certificates will be issued after 9 months or as determined by the respective body’s schedule.
  8. Attendance: The minimum attendance required is 75%, failing which the applicant will not be allowed to appear for the exams. For more than 3 days’ absence, please email documents for leave. However, in cases of sudden illness where prior permission is not possible, a medical certificate from a doctor must be emailed to iictn.mumbai@gmail.com or info@iictn.org , Please do not attend class or be the model for the practical session of the courses for which you have not paid fees or enrolled; otherwise, the applicant will have to pay Rs. 2600/- per lecture as an extra by the next day only.
    1. The institute reserves the right to change and modify the course curriculum, location of classes, class timings, topics, trainers and lecturers, method of teaching, online and offline platforms of teaching, and timetable at any given time as per University guidelines, subject to the discretion of the management, and it shall be the applicant’s responsibility to undergo the same.
    2. The applicant authorises and gives consent to the institute, stating that they have been clearly explained and informed by the trainer, staff, and management that the practical class, demonstration class, and procedure will be done with due care and that the possible effects and post-care precautions have to be taken after the procedures.
    3. Applicants are consensually and voluntarily taking part as models in practical, demonstrations, and procedures during the class at their own will and risk, and they will not hold the trainer, Applicants, owner, associate owner, or any other staff of the institute responsible for any side effects or injuries like redness, swelling, discoloration of the skin, peeling, pain, burns, burning sensations, or mishaps if any occur during the course of treatment. Further complications like infection, haemorrhage, bleeding, scarring, contraction, possible deformities, prolonged healing time over the estimated reaction to any drug before and after or during Procedures, numbness or itching of the area have been clearly explained.
    4. Applicant is willingly and voluntarily participating in the video and photo shoot. Applicants feel privileged to be part of this video and photo. Applicant agrees and endorses their consent for the Institute to use my photo or video testimony, lecture, practical, or demo with other Applicants, staff, or clients, and Applicant agrees and endorses their consent for the Institute to use these videos, photos, or credentials for branding, marketing, hoardings, promotions, a website, press releases, media advertisements, DVDs, brochures, PPTs, books, and online or offline distribution. Applicants will not claim any charges, royalties, or compensations now or at any time in the future from the institute or institute chains, any channel owner, etc.
  9. Collaborative Course Terms: The Indian Institute of Cosmetology, Trichology, and Nutrition (IICTN) aims to provide demographically relevant, in-demand, and standardized skill education through collaborations with reputable universities, councils, institutions, and private organizations. While IICTN facilitates course details and processes, applicants are advised to conduct their own due diligence before enrolling. IICTN disclaims any responsibility for guidance on admission, study facilitation, or placement. By participating in IICTN’s collaborative courses, applicants acknowledge that IICTN shall not be liable for any delays or issues related to admission, exams, certifications, or course discontinuation.Please be aware that IICTN has no control over the timing and issuance of exams and certificates, which are subject to the collaborating body’s terms and conditions. Any delays will be the sole responsibility of the collaborating entity. For queries regarding exams, marksheets, or certifications, applicants are advised to contact the collaborating body directly, keeping IICTN informed for transparency. IICTN will provide support but will not be liable for delays in admission, examination, or certification processes.

    Upon submission of duly completed application forms along with the mandatory documents required by the collaborating body, IICTN will facilitate the acceptance and approval of admission. Once approved, applicants will proceed to undertake studies and exams according to the collaborating body’s parameters and protocols.

  10. Certifications:
    1. Applicants are required to pay Certificate reissue charges of Rs. 5,100/- if applicants fail to collect their certificates, marksheet, or any other documents within 9 months, whether they pertain to IICTN or any other issuing authority after IICTN has received the documents.
    2. The Institute will not address or accept any requests beyond those courses other than those mentioned in the final invoice and the admission form which have been sent to your email by IICTN management based on your course selection and full fee payment received. If there are any outstanding fees, the applicant will only be eligible for IICTN courses and certifications and will not be eligible for those from any collaborative body, even if mentioned on the admission form.
  11. Documents Verifications: National and international document verification and recruitment agencies have different systems, criteria, and parameters, and an institute may not fulfil or meet those criteria. The institute will verify the authenticity of the applicant’s certificate only via email, and no other documents of the institute or company will be shared with the applicant, recruitment agency, or document verification agency in accordance with the company’s data protection and confidentiality policy. The institute reserves the right to deny any request for the same.
  12. Refund Policy: Once admission is granted, it is final and non-cancellable, with a strict no-refund policy for all fees paid, applicable in all circumstances. Study materials are considered delivered upon sharing or access, and commencement of the course or attendance of classes confirms acceptance of the terms. Fee refunds are not entertained under any circumstances, including health crises, government regulations, medical issues, or institute closures. This policy applies universally, and the institute accepts no liability for refunds or compensation due to changes in government rules or regulations. By applying, applicants acknowledge and agree to abide by this policy.
  13. Products & Vendors Policy: The institute follows a strict policy not to patronise any brand or supplier. The institute’s trainers and consultants are responsible for the courses that applicants have enrolled in. While teaching, trainers do use products and machines and talk about the specifications, brand, supplier, etc. However, this should not be interpreted as a recommendation or sales pitch by staff acting as an agent on behalf of suppliers. Many vendors may indulge in wrongdoing, like providing defective products or machines, or promising urgent delivery, a guarantee, a warranty, or an AMC, and may even use staff names to collect any advances, etc. Applicants must do their own due diligence and survey before purchasing any product or machine and be responsible for their purchase decision. We advise you to be careful and vigilant. Any deal by any applicant with any supplier or representative citing staff connection or recommendation will not be entertained by the institute as per the above policies. Institute will not be held accountable or responsible for the same in the future
  14. Data Protection Policy: They are also not allowed to share any data provided by the institute, trainers, or management through any online or offline sources. All documents, contact details, study materials, notes, PPTs, videos, audios, etc. are copyrighted and the sole property of the institute.
    1. Applicants are advised to refrain from inviting IICTN staff to personal or professional events without prior written approval from the institute management. Staff are prohibited from sharing personal details or attending such events without permission.     2. If management finds any applicant having wrong conduct, misguiding, misleading, and misbehaving with other applicants, trainers, lecturers, or staff as per their own conclusions and/or against the Institute policy in any digital, verbal, online, offline, or any other media, they will be immediately removed from the group without any prior notice or explanation by the management.
    3. If the misbehaviour continues, their admission will be revoked with immediate effect, with no refund or compensation, and they will be charged the monetary penalty. The institute reserves the right to file a defamation case against a related applicant for spoiling the brand name if found necessary, and all legal expenses will be borne by applicants.
  15. Job Assistance: Indian Institute of Cosmetology, Trichology and Nutrition Private Limited (IICTN) is a private body that offers skills-enhancing courses for the beauty, health, and wellness sectors. The said institute is neither a college nor a university, nor is it a deemed university. The course fees paid by applicants are only for the purpose of learning the course. The applicant understands that IICTN provides only guidance for jobs but does not guarantee or assure any job Nationally / Internationally.Success or failure of the individual in practice, a job, or business is attributable to the individual’s capabilities, and IICTN shall not be responsible for any lapses or failures. IICTN is to be indemnified for any claim by the applicant or client of any kind whatsoever, as IICTN is opposed to malpractice. The certificates are awarded for course learning and are not a licence to practise injectable procedures such as Botulinum toxin, Dermal-Fillers, and Hair Transplant etc. The procedures must be carried out in accordance with applicable government laws, regulations, and guidelines.

    If an applicant is applying for a job and the institute needs to verify their certificate or if they need additional documents such as a marksheet, appraisal letter, or syllabus of the related course, they must pay an additional charge of Rs. 1,500/- per document.

  16. Indemnity: Applicants, their family, relatives, friends, or any other associates agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the company and its directors, board members, staff, employees, trainers, lecturers, visiting faculty, vendors, dealers, business associates, and so on, whether permanent, contractual, or probationary, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, and compensation arising out of or in any way related to the use of our resources, methods, practice, services, treatment or any other reason whatsoever weather.
  17. Disputes Resolution: By submitting an application, the applicant acknowledges and agrees to comply with IICTN’s Terms and Conditions, which are non-negotiable and subject to change without prior notice. Any disputes or issues arising shall be resolved amicably through the institute’s internal mechanisms, involving Admin, HR, Consultants, and Management as necessary. All matters related to these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai.
  18. Important Details: Parents/guardians are required to sign this joining instruction and then to promptly register on the Samarth portal of University of Mumbai, an enrolment number will be generated by the University which is essentially required to register on the SPDT College Portal to start the course.The terms and conditions outlined in this Joining Instruction document constitute the entire agreement between the student and IICTN. Any representations, promises, or commitments made by IICTN staff or counsellors that are not explicitly stated in this document are not binding on IICTN and will not be recognized or honoured by the institute.

    By Reading this document, applicant understand and acknowledge that they have carefully reviewed and understood the terms and conditions mentioned. They are advised to seek clarification on any doubts or concerns before proceeding.

Acknowledgement:

It is presumed that all applicants have carefully read and understood the admission terms, conditions and policy given in the admission form and selected the courses and fee package after due diligence. Further please note that this is a computer-generated mandate for all applicants joining as IICTN applicants or applicants for IICTN facilitated admissions with Collaborated Educational bodies for Industry – oriented courses and does not need physical signatures either from IICTN or from the applicant or applicants and is taken as read, understood and agreed to.
